Re-use, Re-duce, Re-cycle!

I really admire those who make an effort to recycle. As my new year’s resolution I decided to commit to recycling our household material. I set out, hunting for my tri-colored bins labeled Glass and Tins, Paper and Plastics. Got back home, post an announcement on the Kitchen black board to PLEASE RECYCLE. To my amazement, things worked out well… until the bins had to be emptied…! I find it extremely annoying to drive to the suburb after the next, to take my three bags of waste to the recycling depot. It’s a hassle, and people do not like being hassled with yet another thing to add to their busy routine. On my Project however, I found that it actually simplifies things allot by grouping site refuse. I have created a system where we pile our refuse in groups according to their recycling attributes, and then deliver them by the load at the nearest recycling depot. Social Networks or Social Nightmares

Absolutely amazing how you can leave a comment on Facebook , automatically and instantly have it sent to your Twitter account, which links it with your Blog . From your Blog you can like it on Facebook , post a Blog post, tweet as a Tweet , send it to a friend via Gmail – and that’s only the beginning…! Then there are applications and networks such as Disqus , where a comment posted reflects on your Blog and vice-versa. I haven’t even reached the point to edit my Waynne profile, Linkedin profile, Google buzz , Badoo and heavens know what else there is out there!? But, are these attributing to our lives, or just making it more complex. Isn’t one central social network enough? See, I believe people are individuals who prefer certain things over others. I might be absolutely delighted with navigating Facebook , whilst another might despise it, and prefer to use Myspace . And that’s the determining factor when you view it from a business perspective… you want to reach people from
